Classes

Dhara programs are based on the understanding that healing cannot happen in stressed environments, so first and foremost, sessions create a safe space to relax.

Classes offer practical tools to support individuals in making healthy choices through teaching holistic self-healing techniques that integrate body, mind and spirit.  A deep understanding of the power of our own breath is the foundation of our work.  Gentle movement sequences and guided relaxations deepen our relationship with ourselves, while group discussions deepen our relationship with our community.

Pathways to Wellness is an open weekly class for those living with mental health issues.  All are invited to attend.  Classes are on donation, with a suggested $5 or $10 to help cover space rental costs.  No one is turned away.

Six Weeks to Wellness, Dhara’s signature program developed in collaboration with NAMI-NYC Metro, is a unique workshop series for individuals living with mental health issues who are looking to take more responsibility for their own health and healing through alternative, scientifically proven methods.

Dhara also recognizes the need of serving service providers, bringing much needed support to those who serve needy and frequently underserved populations.  Programming focuses on practical ways to integrate self-healing techniques in busy schedules and on the job.

Because some are brand new to yoga and others are not able to travel to the studio space, Dhara also offers On Site Programs in the community.

Jenna is also available for one time introductory sessions and workshop and conference presentations.
